Stress is an evil, horrible thing! When our bodies are under stress we can feel tired,
sore, sick, weak, have insomnia, high blood pressure, hinder reaching goals, grouchy....just to name a few.
CrossFit recommends taking a rest day after every three training days. Taking a day off to rest and recover is going to help your muscles heal, its going to lessen the stresses on your body and in turn help in fighting off injuries, sickness, ect.
This might not be the BEST stress reliever, so listen to your body... when you feel extra sore, or are feeling extra weak, take a day to yourself to rest and relax. You will reach your goals faster by making sure your body is well taken care of, than hitting the gym as hard as you can EVERY day, and beating it and wearing it down...
