Who's ready for a mile PR?

Just because you buy a pair of barefoot running shoes doesn't mean you are going to become a better runner. 
Barefoot running shoes are only going to help you if you learn HOW to properly run.
Most of you heal strike.....OUCH.
Do you have knees pain? YES. And if you don't now you will over time.
Heal striking, which sadly I have found out is actually taught in military PT is going to 
tear up your knees, your hips and ultimately make you work hard to run faster.
There are ways to make you more efficient,  faster, and to also help prevent injury.

If you are interested in becoming a better runner the CrossFit Endurance Cert is coming to CrossFit TakeOver in April, this is a two day course where you will learn first hand from the pros. Two days of drills to embed the form into your brain!!

Food Journals are still DUE BY FRIDAY. I will be there Saturday morning, if you turn it in on Saturday IT IS LATE.

6:30pm Tue/Thurs OPEN GYM. This time is reserved for elements class. However you can come into open gym as long as you do not need any instruction. People in open gym should have mastered all the skills of CF, and be able to do it on their own no problem: that goes for warming up, setting up, and the WOD. The coach will be with the student(s) in elements and should not be bothered. I am still playing around with the idea of a 3:30pm time, however I am thinking about having it as an open gym time so that I can also get my workout in. Possibly having 2 days/week as a class.....I will let you know what I decide asap!!
NEW EQUIPMENT IS HERE!! It will be a bit of a mess in the gym Thur/Fri while I arrange things, bear with me ;)
