Hydration and the IMPORTANCE!!
You hear me say "make sure you are drinking enough water"
And wonder...what is she talking about?
Some of you already have experienced the muscles cramping during your WOD...this is not normal. It means that they are lacking hydration. Our body is comprised of a large amount of water, so when we expel it, we need to replenish it. If not....its going to start doing some crazy things: cramping-therefore effecting your WOD, dry mouth, headache, dizziness, slowing down recovery time from one WOD to the next, effecting the look of our skin (ew)....
Water is necessary for every cell, organ and tissue in our body to properly function....being hydrated is no joke guys! So if you want your skin to look good, your organs to work right, your muscles to have a speedy recovery, and your WODs to not suck....hydrate, hydrate, hydrate!!!
Well how much?!
A goal is to drink 1/2 of your body weight in ounces! Shoot for that everyday....I guarantee you will notice a difference!
