You are what you eat.

I know, I know....its tough to not get on the scale, see the numbers and get frustrated. As much as I tell you those numbers are ALMOST meaningless compared to measurements and bodyfat, most of you are stuck in your ways. Maybe seeing this photos might help.....

Fat (yellow) Vs. Muscle (red)
This is 1lb of fat vs 1 lb of muscle. Clearly one is MUCH smaller than the other but they weigh the same! Multiply each one by 115lbs and you have two 115 lb people. What do you think the person will look like that is a 115 lbs of fat compared to the 115lbs of muscle?!  MUCH larger- but they STILL weigh the same.
What I am trying to say is that you could weigh 140lbs the first time you step on the scale, but after a couple months of hard work, training, and a good diet you could step on the scale and weigh 138lbs but have a huge change in your composition: bodyfat, and measurements. Thus looking more lean, having more muscle, and your clothing fits more loosely.
The numbers on the scale are one of the WORST ways to track progress. So stop worrying about those numbers and worry about the ones on the tape measure and the bodyfat.
