Thursday

Goats are dirty, filthy, and a downright pain!

A GOAT: something that you just downright SUCK at. OR hate.
And you'll never improve by skipping out on the days when you see your "goat" in the WOD.
We've got to focus on that skill and practice your heart out!
Working on your goat will help you to become a better athlete and help you break through any training plateaus that you've hit.
Here are a few blogs about "goats" check them out!

A few people have taken advantage of the meetings I have offered, and have a short term plan to GET THEIR GOAT!

Weighted Push Ups
3-3-3-3-3

The "do what you suck at" WOD
14 min on the clock:
Even Minutes: Goat 1
Odd Minutes: Goat 2
*plan to work 20-30 seconds at the top of every minute.

  1. I believe my goat is backwards uphill buddy bear crawls in the sand. But I will not be doing that, so I think I'll take a rest day. ;)

  3. Pushups: #55 for all
Goat work.. I have a lot of movements I need to work on.
Did Pistols and bar muscle ups. Can't for the life of me figure those out. Same with the rings.. I'm having a hard time flipping to the false grip..So really I just did a lot of pull ups.

    1. Didn't think about that.. how would I go about doing that if I'm kipping them? Would I wrap it around my knees? I may need a video tutorial? ha! Trying to picture that in my head, and I end up smacking myself in the face... haha!

    2. If you look on the CrossFit Unrivaled Facebook page, Jackie posted a few videos of one of our members doing them banded.
