Jay continues to get better everyday!
His goal for November was a 205# Clean, his current at the time was 190#.
Thursday morning he came in at 6am to see what he could knock out and 205# went up with ease.
Jay finished with a 215# Clean PR. Then did the partner workout at 7am... LOVE IT!!!
Keep being consistent with showing up daily and persistent with improving your movement and you'll see the success of your hard work.
As everyone knows we are doing Toys For Tots that ends December 13th.
But the Coaches have decided to give you some incentive to get into the giving mood and also see your Coaches suffer a little for a good cause. On Monday December 4th we are going to do a Toy Drive Challenge. For every toy brought into CrossFit Unrivaled on that day the coaches will do a burpee. So if we get 100 toys on Monday, each Coach will perform 100 burpees. If we are doing burpees until the sun comes up the next day I look it as a win win! Let's see what you guys can do.
For our athletes that are signed up for the CrossFit Lift-Off, don't forget that we are having our USAW Level 1 Course this weekend at the gym. With the Lift-Off starting Thursday evening and running through Monday night. Athletes participating can coordinate to do their lifts or WOD Friday or Monday during normal operation hours. Saturday the gym will be closed due to the long curriculum for the USAW course. Sunday however we will allow only athletes needing to do their workout or lifts from 3-5pm. So please coordinate with the coaches or a certified judge to meet you to judge your event.
WOD
5 Rounds:
15 Deadlifts (185/135) (155/105) (135/95)
25 AbMat Sit-Ups
**Barbell weight should be something you can complete in 1-2 sets each round**
